Ace is a small design and web application development firm based in Minot, ND run by myself [Trey Welstad →] and Max Buchholz. However, with limited hours and a focused eye on quality we must limit the clients we take on. But if you are accepted, you can rest assured that your site will be handled like a delicate flower [metaphor meaning we will really concentrate on your project].

The internet industry is constantly changing, so we stay ahead of the curve to ensure that our clients achieve a cutting edge web presence.

Ace's ideal clients are small business owners with a great attitude and an understanding that a website is an investment in the success of their business. As a client your reasons for getting a website might include:

• People are searching online but can't find your company because you don't have a website
• People are choosing your competition because their site is more inviting or easy to use
• People feel like a company is more stable, reliable, and trustworthy when they have a profesionally designed website

What Ace Can Do

With over 8 years of design and development experience we've seen the industry change and have an understanding of what the web can do for a business. Ace has expertise in PHP, Javascript, CSS, MySQL, XML, and of course HTML. With development and design there are always obstacles as we try to do new things. We've overcome and learned from so many that we are very good at using old knowledge to solve new problems. If we do not feel confident that Ace can do something we will let you know right away so neither of us wastes time, but with our combined expertise there isn't much that Ace can't do.

Will Ace take on your project?

Nothing is set in stone as far as rules, but an Ace project has at least one of the following characteristics:

• New design or redesign of a website for your small business or organization
• Identity and branding design such as logos or promotional items
• Implementing a content management system (CMS) so you can update your site easily and effectively

Here are a few things that we usually don't do:

• Complete flash sites
• Extensive updating to previously written programming code
• Projects requiring skills outside of our expertise

Compensation

I had my car checked out this year for a potential problem, and even though there wasn't anything to fix I was charged $50 for a ½ hour of 'work'. It left me with a bad feeling like I had just paid too much for too little. That's a feeling I don't want you to leave with. So with Ace, I want you to feel like you just ripped us off because you got such a great product for such a modest price.

Marketing and sales isn’t about trying to convince, coerce, or manipulate people into buying your services. It’s about putting yourself out in front of, and offering your services to, those whom you are meant to serve – people who already need and are looking for your services.
